This is a surfie stone made out of surfboard resin. This is a cross-section of the years' worth of resin buildup that has been hardened on the shaper's floor over many years. The resin has been there for many years. This particular resin was procured from a well-known surfboard shaper based in New South Wales, Australia, which has been shaping boards for over half a century.
