Druzy Crystal comprises tiny sparkling crystals arranged on top of a relatively hefty crystalline body. Usually, this kind of crystal forms on top of another matrix; however, it may or may not later come into contact with the matrix. Agate or another coloured matrix is another example of which druzy crystals can grow. Metals like garnet, dolomite, malachite, and calcite are also found in druzy crystals.

The colours of druzy crystals range from translucent to opaque. Vapours of metallic origin occasionally coated on the crystals give them their bright luminescence. Druzy crystals can be found all over the world. The Druzy Crystal is most frequently found in agate voids, and is widely distributed in Brazil. Its central mining regions are Mexico, Africa, South America, Europe, and the United States.
